In this unit we saw two very clear examples of the actual teaching practice. We ere able to compare two different approaches, and see how they impacted the students and their ability to participate and learn. We saw how important the disposition of the teacher is. We also saw how important a well structured lesson is. A lesson with clear instructions, good examples, and a teacher that is always aware of the class A teacher that actively sees to it that students understand everything, and can correctly produce the desired words and sentences. A good teacher must be able to create a positive and pleasant learning environment, where students feel part of the class, and know very clearly what is expected from them, and how they can participate.
