The unit is on grammar conditional. The conditions are zero, first second, third conditional ad mixed. Zero uses the I/when +present tense, present tense. First is I+present simple. Second If+pas simple, would/could/might and the base form. Third is If+past perfect, would could have past participle. Mixed is If+ past perfect, would+base form. A good way to teach is to make sentences so the students fill in blanks for how the sentence is concluded. Then there is reported and direct speech. This entails someone relaying speech.
