This unit states different forms of present tense. The following present tenses are present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. These form and usage of sentence describes under what category the present form is. The form of sentence can be positive, negative and question form. Whereas usage can be described as how and under what circumstances the tense or grammar point is used. There are some typical student errors in each category of present tense which the teacher has to take care or correct them in example form. Different activities during the teaching stage can help the students learn better. These activities can include students asking each other question and answers using present tenses or performing role play like a job interview.
