This unit focused on how to create a lesson plan and the importance of creating one. Reading about lesson planning was important to me because it served as a reminder to me that I should always make some written plan for each lesson and file it for future reference. Unfortunately due to time constraints, I often do not write down my lesson plans and instead make mental notes about them. This unit has motivated me to be more organized in my teaching by writing out all of my lesson plans in order for my lessons to run smoothly and to be better prepared for anything. Additionally by keeping a record of my lessons, I can keep better track of what I have covered and I can recycle them in the future.
