Once a teacher introduces a topic as \"easy\" it cuts the communication from the students to the teacher. Students will not ask questions because they feel they should know the answer and teachers will not get a response to their questions because they do not want to be wrong. The first lesson was hard to watch because as a student those kinds of teachers make learning more difficult than it already is. When learning a new language it is important to feel safe to make errors and ask questions because it can be confusing. In lesson one when students finally did ask questions he would turn them down because he did not understand the question or when receiving an answer to his question he would just say \"no\" and move on to the next person. He was intimidating and made students feel self-conscious. The second lesson the teacher gave the students the feelings that he wanted to teach them. He was open and even if a student was wrong he tried helping them get to the right answer. His tone and smile made the students more receptive to him. He made his classroom a safe place to learn and make mistakes, which is helpful to the learning process because his students can learn from those mistakes.
