In this unit, I learned about different teaching aids and equipment that are used in the classroom. I learned what aids are commonly found in a classroom, e.g an overhead projector. I learned about guidelines for using the equipment. For example, white/black boards should always be cleaned after a lesson. I learned about the advantages and disadvantages of using some of the equipment, e.g an OHP captures the students attention, but can be hard to set up. In addition, I received long lists of links to online resources for ESL teaching, including online dictionaries, video sharing websites and archives.
