I?ve become more clear on which part that students might get confused or making errors. Such as: The common mistake/errors of past simple arise from the use of irregular verbs,etc. So the sample teaching ideas could be: to teach the irregular verb forms, discussing past holidays, etc.I also got some ideas on teaching past perfect, like students see a story and then retell the story backwards, starting from the end and describing what had happened before.
