This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
While watching the first video, I could see that the students were uncomfortable and felt unease while in class. They did not wish to participate in the class and at many times they had a look of confusion. I think for a teacher to have a successful class, a good rapport must be initially created between the teacher and students. Once this is done, the teacher needs to think of a simple way yet an engaging way of conveying his message or point. The second video was good, however, many students weren't able to produce many animals. I think by knowing a few names of animals in the local language, the teacher could have illicit a better response. Overal this unit was quite insightful. Cheers.
